Job Description

Reports To:  Director, Rehabilitation Services

Position Summary:  Develops, implements and assesses Speech pathology treatment programs for home-bound. Activities are conducted within the framework of the Agency's policies and procedures and are consistent with established professional standards.

Essential Functions:

  1. Manages a caseload giving consideration to patient/family needs, travel efficiency and service priorities.
  2. Plans, implements and evaluates individual speech/language therapy programs and diagnostic tests in conjunction with the prescription and/or the direction of a physician.
  3. Identifies barriers to desired outcomes.

Job Requirements

Knowledge and Experience:

  1. Possession of the appropriate licensure, certification and/or registration.
  2. Minimum of one year of direct care patient experience, preferably of a generalized nature.
  3. Current driver’s license.

Education: Must have completed and educational program (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree) currently approved by the respective national professional organization.
